Stage Tech Needed

Mike fumbles around with setting up his computer's audio in order to livestream his performance on WANDA, while being pestered by a persistent fly in the room. He then shifts to preparing for karaoke night at the nearby "Bottoms Up" Queer bar.

Alright, I'm back guys! I hope nobody freaked out while I was gone. It’s a serious situation here. I swear to God, I have killed 15 flies in the last 24 hours! Mostly from gassing them to death, but they still keep coming. It’s like a fly cemetery in here. You’d think if I were a fly and I saw all these other dead flies, I’d have some suspicions and maybe head somewhere else, right?

I’m getting ready to head out because tonight is karaoke night at Bottoms Up, the 'queer/not queer' establishment here in Alexandria. But first, I have to get WANDA turned on and ready to go. I think I’m trekking in all these bugs from my walks with Wanda; the Louisiana bayous aren't exactly kind, though the air is actually quite wonderful for your skin!

Todd, hello darling! Special thanks to Todd, who is a public official for the Central Ohio Transit Authority. How is your day going? You guys are being very quiet today. Maybe I’m just missing the questions, or maybe you’re all just enjoying the show.

I’m still trudging through all these Facebook features. Did you know I can ban people? Not that anyone ever does anything to deserve it, but it’s good to know! I’m also trying to get the tech side of WANDA sorted. I’ve remapped my wireless network, and now the Bluetooth audio is all messed up. I love making my life difficult for no reason—the story of my life, really!

I’m trying to get my computer to play audio through a 'secret phone' to Wanda 2 and multiple other devices. It’s a bit of a technical disaster at the moment, so we might just have to stick to one speaker for now. I’m naming this speaker 'Madam Speaker.'

Oh, hi Kayla! Are you going to karaoke tonight? Ah, you have to wake up early tomorrow? Well, hopefully, we’ll see you Saturday for the drag show then.

I’m running a bit behind on my own schedule. I usually like to time the national anthem to play on the hour or half-hour — something I picked up living next to an Air Force base for five years. I’m trying to get the audio on point because you can't do your nation wrong, goddamn it!

I don't have a Canadian flag handy, so we're using the Quebec flag as a stand-in for the anthem today. I've already wasted a half-hour of Facebook time just trying to get the technology to cooperate. I think that's a sign that it's time to sign off for the night.
