Farewell to CENLA

Mike prepares to move forward in his quest returning to Ohio, by way of Lafayette and New Orleans. He reflects on his time in the neighborhood and shares his tentative travel plans, which include a train ride from New Orleans to Cleveland.

Alright, we are live on Lee Street in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is actually a bit of a farewell to the CENLA area. I’m out here getting some steps in and enjoying the evening before things really start to shift.

It’s been a time of transition lately, and I wanted to check in and let you all know what’s coming next. I’m heading out from Alexandria and moving toward Lafayette, and then eventually, the plan is to make my way down to New Orleans. There’s a lot of travel on the horizon—I’m actually looking at taking a train soon, heading up toward Columbus, Ohio. It’s a big move with a lot of moving parts, but I’m ready for the journey.

I’m just taking a look around the neighborhood here one last time. It’s a quiet Wednesday night, and it feels right to just walk and talk with you guys for a moment. I appreciate everyone who’s been following along with the updates and the music here on the channel.

I’m going to go ahead and wrap this up for now. I’ve got some more prep to do for the trip ahead. I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday evening. Take care of yourselves, take care of each other, and I will see you in the next one. Peace.
