Good evening, everyone! It’s Mike George here, coming to you live for a special "After Dark" edition. I’m currently riding along with my favorite neighborhood gay trucker, Matthew, as we head eastbound on I-80 toward Salt Lake City. We’re running right along the Great Salt Lake, though it’s pretty much just a horizon of lights out there right now.

We’re on a bit of a timed run—I just woke up, so I’m still shaking off the sleep—but we’re heading to Boise next. After that, we might be hitting Kennewick, Washington. I’m trying not to think too far ahead, though; in this life, you’ve got to stay focused on what’s right in front of you.

I’ve been busy today dodging collections calls and talking to recruiters. I’m in that weird limbo between jobs and unemployment, but things are moving! We actually have a place lined up in Portland with some cool people, so the plan is to settle down there soon. Matthew will likely keep driving, and we'll just stay in touch like we did before.

We even had a surprise guest tonight! My friend Johnny joined the stream from his bed while his boyfriend Jay was sleeping. We talked about everything from his job at Amazon and Black Friday shopping to some pretty "after dark" topics like kink and dating habits. It’s always good to have company on these long, lonely night hauls.

Matthew’s getting the trailer ready now, and I’m going to settle into the back of the cabin to stay out of the way of the folks at the distribution center. We’re going to chill, listen to some music, and maybe catch you all again for the sunrise. Until then, take care of each other. Peace!
